ENVISION GROWTH!
How wonderful life teaches us the greatest lessons of life with our own everyday life. We see most of these things happen in front of us on a daily basis, and make them so ordinary as they appear then we risk learning from them because we cannot just afford learning from what has become ordinary to us.
Life from cradle to grave teaches us one great lesson: "you were not born to remain where you were or where you are."
It's a pity how we keep record of our physical growth: from infant to childhood to adolescent/teenager to youth to adult; but mostly fail to give record of other aspect of our lives: spiritual, mental, social, educational and financial.
Life itself teaches us that growth is non-negotiable because it is indispensable. Your spiritual, mental, social, educational (academical), emotional and financial life must not remain the same. They must improve overtime. You must grow.
Learn, unlearn and relearn everything you've learnt in the past if you want to grow appropriately. In essence, let learning be a fluid that flows through your entire being. Learn every aspect of life. Don't be too myopic to focus only in one aspect of your life. Some think everything in life is spirituality (spiritual); some others believe it's all about money (financial); still a school of thought opines that it's all about knowledge (academics); another argues it's all about connections (social). No matter the school of thought you belong to, understand this: God is the author of every area of your life. He created you complete. The complete you is made up of your spiritual, mental, financial, social, educational and emotional life. So, grow and never stop growing in every aspect of your life. Don't neglect any aspect of your life.

One thing we must know is that: "it is as we get to know Him that we become more like Him."

We know Him by the things He reveals to us through His word. Let's get deeper in His word...

You can't know Him beyond what He has revealed to you about Himself. And He can't reveal Himself to you beyond the capacity of His word in you. The deeper you are in His word, the deeper you get in the revelation of His person. You don't pray to know God while you are lazy or inactive in studying your Bible or listening to Him speak...
