Good morning beautiful people!!!!

Finally on 👎
*Further Facts to Ponder On What Career Youths Should Choose*

Mr. AyoDeji emphasised that; "I really do not believe that there's a best career nor do I have suggestion for one.

Above all, I believe that commitment towards choosing the right field and doing the right thing in one's chosen field in this corrupted world will make one's career the best as it would attract others to one's field after they have witnessed the numerous fruits that emanates from one's life."

Another concern is the well-documented association of exposure to higher education with decreased “adherence to core religious tenets.” (The Sacred in a Secular Age) The pressure to maintain high grades has caused some Christian youths to neglect spiritual activities and thus become vulnerable to the onslaught of secular thinking promoted by universities.

Some have suffered shipwreck concerning their faith.

School in particular has given them a real edge in finding employment.

Though not possessing a university degree, such youths learn to be poised, adept at expressing themselves, and quite capable of handling responsibility.

Never forget, too, that there is a factor that employment statistics do not take into account: God’s promise to provide for those who give priority to spiritual interests.—Matthew 6:33.

Employment prospects and educational systems vary from place to place. Youths have different abilities and inclinations. While a career in the Christian ministry is recommended as being beneficial, it is still a matter of personal choice.

You and your parents must thus carefully weigh all factors involved in deciding how much education is right for you.

‘Each one must carry his own load’ in making such decisions.
If, for example, your parents insist that you attend a university, you have no choice but to obey them as long as you are living under their supervision.

Perhaps you can continue living at home and avoid getting caught up in the university scene.

Be selective in your choice of courses, for example, focusing on learning job skills rather than worldly philosophies. Guard your associations. Keep yourself spiritually strong.

Questions You can boldly answer now

✓ Why should all God-fearing youths consider a career in church?

✓ What are the claimed benefits of higher education, and do such claims always hold true?

✓ What dangers might university education pose?

✓What alternatives to university education can a youth consider?

✓ A job may well bring wealth and recognition, but it cannot satisfy one’s ‘spiritual needs’
A [university] degree no longer guarantees success in the job market”

*I wish you the best........*

WHAT CAREER SHOULD I CHOOSE

Bolade, *a graduate and a software engineer at Whogohost limited* highlighted that "My experience on what youths can choose really depends on the individual's field of interest.

But personally I would advise a look into the technology field.

Luckily for me, as an undergraduate I already figured out my career in tech, so yes! Education was right for me, it broadens my knowledge and outreach in terms of connecting with people and then some jobs just require the formalities".

I can boldly say spending five to nine years in tertiary institution is really not worth it as many developers out there are self-taught just as I am, aside for formalities purposes the Nigerian school sector isn't worth the stress.

It's not worth the time wasted.

*Most times, students have unlimited freedom in their personal and social life, drugs, alcohol are used freely and promiscuity is the RULE. if this assumption is true in higher institutions.....can you say studying a course of your choice thwart one effort to remaining morally clean?*

✓ Well, I do not believe in that , I personally believe one can come out clean with high Morales standard.

I won’t blame that on institutions but rather on the moral value of the individual.

*What exactly is the best career to go for in a corrupted world?*

A career in technology is absolutely the best choice, one can leverage on, it's vast growth range, you can be in this corrupt country but working for a firm in another country of your choice remotely.

✓ A Career that Satisfies

King Solomon advises: “The conclusion of the matter, everything having been heard, is: Fear the true God and keep his commandments. For this is the whole obligation of man.” (Ecclesiastes 12:13)

The prime obligation for Christians today, young and old, youths or adult, is to preach the Kingdom message.(Matthew 24:14) And youths who take seriously their obligation before God feel compelled to have a full share in this work as possible—even if they are not naturally inclined toward preaching the gospel (Compare 2 Corinthians 5:14.)

University Education—Advantageous?

Would it not make sense for a youth first to obtain a university degree , The Bible, of course, does not spell out exactly how many years of schooling a Christian youth should obtain.

Nor does it condemn education. Infact God want his people to read well and to express themselves clearly. (Isaiah 30:20; Psalm 1:2; Hebrews 5:12)

Moreover, education can broaden our understanding of people and the world we live in.

In addition, *a graduate in linguistics and a teacher, Esther Olaleye* buttress further adding that very responsible and determined youth shouldn't rely on a white collar job.

A white collar job might serve at a part time but it is advisable for youths to get engaged in any hand work, it can be farming or a self-owned business but it has to be something people use every day so as to make daily income.

As for me, I have engaged myself in so many things but owning your business is still the coolest.

She added that education is not all about doing a professional job, education enlightens ones horizon.

If a person who didn't attend school feels he's making more money than an educated person... Such a person might not be able to talk among some of his rich men's mate who is educated.

So education goes a long way in Nigeria. For me, I will say risking all the time, stress and all is not worth it in Nigeria. But in most countries, spending five to nine years studying a particular course is okay and worth the journey.

I am certain we are enjoying some of our graduates.........Wait for more!

*Rather than rush out the door, stop and appreciate the little things; the little things can make a big impact and lead to an amazing day!*
