So the other day, Mama Nkechi and Mama Amara were discussing somewhere around Iyana Ipaja.

Both have diabetes.
Both always complain that their sugar level is high.

So one said to the other:

“Today's biscuits are full of sugar.
Which one can someone even take with this our condition?”

Mama Nkechi replied with confidence:

“Cream crackers is the best.”

Then she added:

“But don’t take it with coke.
Zobo is better.” 😄

In my mind, I'm like…

Is it the same zobo that Auntie RUKA prepared inside one room apartment at Dopemu?

The one she added:

Sugar.
More sugar.
Then small saccharin for balance? 😂

What an error.

See ehn…
Many people are still deceiving themselves with:

“Unsweet biscuit.”
“Diabetic biscuit.”
“Healthy crackers.”

Meanwhile refined flour is still refined flour.

Your blood sugar does not clap because the biscuit is not sweet.

And washing it down with heavily sweetened zobo is simply advanced confusion. 😄

Eating biscuits of any kind regularly — sweet or unsweet — is not a smart move for anybody seriously trying to regain metabolic health.

Even when you take it as an emergency, you may land at the emergency.

So in truth:
Many people around you are still making this mistake confidently.

Please share this post.
You may be saving a life.

Because some people are proudly but wrongly managing diabetes… with biscuits and sugar disguised as zobo.

How to Know You’re Eating Based on Food Trends
If you’re honest, you’ll see yourself here 👇

▪️You suddenly start eating a food because it’s trending online, not because you were hungry for it

▪️You buy foods you never ate growing up, simply because “everyone is eating it now”

▪️You can’t explain why you’re eating it, only that “they said it’s healthy”

▪️You change your diet every few months — keto today, detox tomorrow, smoothie next week

▪️You feel confused about food most of the time

▪️You eat what influencers recommend, not what your body responds well to

▪️You feel guilty eating traditional foods but proud eating foreign ones

▪️ You are ashamed to drink Garri but want everyone to see you when you are eating fried rice and chicken

▪️Your meals always look good online but the Maggi in it can't be seen

▪️You eat foods you don't know how they're made

▪️You follow hashtags more than hunger cues

If your plate is controlled by trends,
your body will always be confused.

Real nutrition is consistent, simple, and personal —
not viral.

If every time you enter the toilet
you’re sweating, holding your breath,
and pushing like you’re giving birth…

Your gut is not happy.

A healthy gut means:

▪️smooth movement
▪️no drama
▪️no prayer point
▪️no straining

Poo is not a gym exercise.

If you’re forcing it,
something is wrong:

▪️low fibre
▪️low water
▪️poor gut health
▪️too much processed food

When the gut is healthy,
poo moves freely like an American citizen with a blue passport.

It's like:
“Excuse me, I’m leaving now.”😀
And he leaves...

No struggle.
No noise.
No trauma.

Fix your gut —
and stop fighting a silent battle in the toilet — every day.
