If I had all the money I want to, businesses and properties, travelled all over the world and visited all the sites there is to visit, eaten all there’s to eat, had all them brands of clothings and other wardrobe stuff….
What else would be my drive in life?

The argument that exercising is detrimental because people have slumped and died while exercising, people have sustained injuries, and so on, is actually plausible.
Some sports men have met their death on the fields, some have sustained lifelong injuries as well.
But what about those whose lives have been cut short due to illnesses resulting from unhealthy living?
It’s actual fact that the number of those who fall into the the latter category far outweighs the number of the former category.
Incase you enter argument one day of how work outs and exercises are dangerous and bla bla bla.
That been said, it’s pertinent to tune your exercise routine to your body needs and be wary of those ones that can be harmful to you. You can challenge yourself that’s ok, but knowing your limit is is also important.

Those days, we always bugged our mum with the question “what are we gonna eat tomorrow “ .
She always had one line of answer “ife afuru erie” meaning “whatever we see we eat”.
It wasn’t as if there was a day we ever went without food, or almost went without food, so now I wonder why we constantly asked her that question.
Maybe we asked the question out of sheer childhood curiosity or mischief to trouble nwanyi mmadu, bt she always beat us to it by that singular answer, and after that line, nothing more will come out as far as an answer was concerned.
We figured out our answers ourselves on days she branched to market from work, or when we are being instructed to make preparations such as picking of beans the night before. Except for those clues, we had to wait on the God of the Lilies and the Sparrows, and He never failed.
Now wearing same cap as a family woman, I have come to the brutal realisation that planning family meals day to day, week to week, month to month, is one low key irksome chore no one talks about.
Like you have to be deliberate not to repeat same dish over and over again, then you have to make sure the 6 classes of food are well represented, then you have to consider some members of the household who may have one nutritional need more than others, and the list goes on.
I do make timetables sometimes, quite helpful I must say, but I have never been consistent with them. It’s either I get bored, or no longer favour whatever is in the timetable, or life happens and what was planned either isn’t available or I’m too busy to make it.
Those who have found ways to seamlessly navigate through daily meal planning without a hitch, please come and cut soap for us.
