God's Promise

The Love of the Father
Text John3;16:-For God so love the world that he gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in him will not perish but have an everlasting life
We celebrate LOVE all over the world today
The world is desperately searchiny for love the young and the old, men and women Everyone eant to be loved
I have good News for you -God loves you God loves you unconditionally and that is why He sent His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross of calvary for you and me
The dept of this love is measured by sacrifice
Rom 5:6-8:-For scarcely for a righteous man will one die but while we were yet sinners Jesus died
Jesus died not looking on our sin He loved us enough to die for us
John 15:13:-Greater love hath no man than this,that a man lay down his life for his friend
Jesus loves you enough to die
Do you love God?
John 14:15:-If you love me keep my commandment
The commandment of God is found in his book -the bible
This book is a compass given to us to navigate through this life
It is called the wonder book because it has done so many wonders in the life of so many people in this world
One hundred million copies are printed every year
Dont you think you should find out what is written in this book
It is the book of life
James 1:25:-But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty and continueth therein,he being not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work,this man shall be blessed in hi deed
As we celebrate love today let the word of guide us in all we do
S*x is not love The world is equating love with s*x This hath destroyed so many lives
Rom 12:1,2:-........(2)Do not let the world squeeze you into its own mold The world uses the word love to mean s*x
It is a day to show love to people God has brought into your life
There are people out there who need to be loved
One kind word,one telephone call can make all the difference Forgive those that have wronged you Send your love to them and you will feel so much love

WHAT DO YOU EXPECT?
Text John5:1-15
Key Verse John5:6:-When Jesus saw him lie and knew that he had been now a long time in that case he said unto him Wilt thou be made whole?
The pool by the sheep market lay great multitude of impotent folk,of blind halt withered waiting for the moving of the water
And a certain man was there,which had an infirmity thirty and eight years
When Jesus saw him,He knew that he had been in that case a long time
When Jesus asked him -Wilt thou be made whole?He did not have an answer
He was not expecting anything He did not believe help could ever come
The year 2022 is a year of overflow of God's blessing
What do you Expect in this new year?Jesus Christ is able! But do you believe?
Ephesians 3:20:-Now unto Him who is able to to do exceedingly abundantly above al that we ask..,....
It is the above all that we ask or think that God wants to do this year
Whatever our expectations if we abide in Christ and his word abide in you,and you shall ask what you will and it shall be done (John15:7)
To abide is to stay in communion with God and this is life's greatest treasure-Intimacy with God
Prayer is cumulative friendship with God It is communion with God
God created man for fellowship God delights to have fellowship with us
Abiding in God's presence is the essence of prayer
Most of us come to the place of prayer without any expectation
We do not believe God will anwer
The man at the pool side could not answer because he was not expevting anything
Heb 11:6-:But without faith it is impossible to please Him for he that is cometh to God must believe that He is and a rewarder of them that diligently seek him
Abiding in God's presence builds a relationship with the Lord and the presence of God creates miracles
Do not let unbelief,discouragèment and lack of expectation stand in the way of God's miracles in your life
I pray for you
-This year 2022 the Lord will meet you at the point of your need in Jesus name
-The Lord will answer you speedly in Jesus name
-The purpose of God for your life will be fullfilled The Lord will surprise you in Jesus name AmenThe Lord bless you
