I think its high time as a people we stop paying ransoms to kidnappers.

Let them kill all their victims if they so wish. What's the point collecting ransom and going ahead to kill their victims. They mostly kidnap people whose entire background cannot afford what they demand. When they show us videos of how they are tormenting their victims we become so moved that we run around seeking for funds and at the end of delivering the ransom, they still kill their victims.
If they are looking for quick cash they should go and kidnap the children of politicians and they will get ransom payments in dollars if they so wish.
It's high time we tell ourselves that we will pay no more ransoms. God forbid it even if its me no one should raise a dime. Raise it and give my children. That should be the goal. Raise the money and give their families.
If no one pays ransom,, there might be, I repeat might be a reduction in the rate of kidnappings. And if they say they want to kill then let them continue. When they have killed everyone I guess they will start killing themselves. I'm so tired of the nonsense going on in this nation and everything has become normalised.
Our tears are almost all exhausted from the killings of innocent civilians and military personnel. Everyday a family is mourning somewhere cos a nation chose to remain silent, cos a nation chose to wear earpiece so as not to hear the cries of her citizens.
One thing im sure of is that if we unite on both sides to fight the common enemy we have, things might turn around.
If our religious leaders had not eaten from the wealth of this wicked politicians they would not be silent the way they are. Only a few pastors and imams who have not partaken in this bloody money still have the boldness to speak the truth without fear or favor.
