Even in the midst of the high prices and cost of living

Even if it is difficult and hurts to.

Even if Nigeria fails me again and more, I'd keep smiling, hoping, praying and working.
Because this is my country, our country,

But how will I serve Nigeria with all my strength when as a student studying a 4year course I am forced to sit at home,

While my peers are graduating
While insecurities and fear has eaten deep into our minds and has affected the system

While we are unable to keep up with the ever rising prices of foodstuff and  commodities,

While ritual Killings has become the song our youths choose to sing.

Now we cry over our insecurities,  our universities, unemployment, Leaders and
Over our failed system.

And we hope that this nation
