Chapter sixteen {16}

I was still In shock when the doctor told me that my brother got attacked with a very critical wound …I hadn’t recover from that when Carissa was wheeled into the hospital ….

It is Diego ……

Diego was the one who kidnapped Carissa but he doesn’t recognize me as Alejandro’s brother …

I called the police and I gave them the update ……
They arrived in the hospital and the theatre where Alejandro and Carissa were placed was surrounded ..

I couldn’t bear it anymore …I had to make sure Kimberly and Alexander are safe so I also arranged police to guard the house and make sure no one comes in …I was told they had gone to a supermarket ..

Diego has to pay for this ….he sat in the reception with a dark shade on preventing the cops from seeing him. …..

The moment the cops moved to the director of the hospital ward……he walked briskly towards the exit and he left …

I sat in the hospital waiting for the result of the surgery .

???? Kimberly ????

I held Alexander in my hand as I walked into the supermarket …I was so cautious looking at my left and right making sure that no one was following us or monitoring us …

I really don’t want anything to happen to Alexander….

We went to the food section and we checked the kids categories …. Alexander sat in the big cart pointing to everything he wants and I picked them for him …I pushed his cart and it mistakenly hit a woman and her phone fell from her hand ….

“Oh my gosh ” she screamed and I tried to help her up

I was shocked when she raised her head up ….

I found my mum standing in front of me ….she hugged me gladly …

????Mrs Jason ????

“Oh my goodness ” I forgot to buy a ketchup from the supermarket so I made a turn back to the supermarket ….

The food section was ahead so I decided to pass through the kids section…

I was walking without looking my way when a shopping cart collided with me …

My phone fell down from my hand
OMG

I raised up my hand to look at the person who was pushing the cart when I met with the shock of my life …

“Kimberly !!!!!!!!!” I screamed and the people in the supermarket looked at us ….

I burst into tears as I pulled my daughter into my hands ….

“I have missed you so much baby after all this years ” I said crying ….

“It’s okay mum …”she replied hugging me

We shopped together and I gave her my number …

She told me she couldn’t follow me because of the little child she was holding …
I promised to visit her during the week …

We had two patients in the theater together …the both of them had similar injuries ….

We had to operate the both of them and I must tell they are in critical conditions that really needs attention ….

The surgeons team operated on the two and I kept checking both teams to ensure that everything is alright..

We finally finished the operation after 8 hours it was late already around 10:00 PM in the evening ..

The police kept survey the ward we kept them after the operation
I went to my apartment to rest ..

I didn’t expect this to happen who could have called the police ….
I don’t even know any among this men whom I can bribe so i had to leave the hospital …

Mrs Jason would be so mad at me right now ….

I can’t come and claim Carissa because the ward is now surrounded and I think she has been announced missing ….

I sat in my room still thinking of a plan

????Maya ????

I entered into the girls room to see them looking strangely
“Why are you all looking like fools ” I asked when I saw that they weren’t prepared to go to the Empire today …

I got no reply from them while their countenance didn’t change as well

“Everyone of you should get up and get prepared ” I shouted but none replied me ….

I tapped one of the girls and I got a resounding slap …I felt like the world was coming to an end …I want to slap but another one held me and she gave me a dirty slap ….

I thought they were out of their senses until they started beating ….

They beating got severe and I was bleeding ….

They all packed their clothes and they left sharing the money in the house Among themselves

“Oh I am doomed I have to call Lisa ” I said still in pains

????Lisa????

I haven’t gotten any update from Maya about the agency ….
I have to make sure the agency is affected and destroyed …

I will have to make Kimberly pay for slapping me…. I will make sure she regrets

I went downstairs and I saw Kimberly talking to someone on the phone and I heard Carissa’s name ..

What are they talking about ….

I was about returning to my room when my my phone rang ..

I called Maya to inform her about the Agency that Kimberly has ..

??? Evening Maya ??? I said when she answered my call

????????Lisa hope things are going as we planned ????????she asked

???Not really Maya …. Alejandro got hurt just because of Carissa and he his currently in the hospital ????????

???? Oh my Gosh !!! ??? She exclaimed

???????? Carissa hasn’t been found yet but Ethan is trying all his best ????????

????????Don’t worry Lisa we would find something to do about Kimberly’s agency and make sure we ruin them ????????she said assuring me

I ended the call and I went to the sitting room …

Alejandro was sleeping peacefully lying on her chest …

She wasn’t sleeping …..she was giving me a suspicious look ….

I went back to my room and I thought about a lot of things …

Ethan has gone out again ..I am really scared something is going to happen to me …I had to force Alexander to sleep so that he would stop crying …

I gave him a syrup and I took his bath before making him sleep peacefully on my chest ….

I really feel bad about Carissa’s absence and I miss her so much

I just have to take care of this family till all is back to normal…

Ethan may be disturbed so I don’t wanna call him ..

I just have to be cautious because of Lisa she seems evil to me ..

I have to go to the supermarket and get some household material ….

I kept thinking of the young girl I saw in Diego’s house yesterday ..
I just wish my daughters are still with me …they would be grown up now and Kimberly would be preparing to get married ….

I have to look for them at all cost …

I went back to the hospital to stay with my brother who was sleeping and I went back to the reception after seeing him

“Ethan be careful ” Alejandro held me putting the inhaler in my mouth …

This is the third inhaler we picked from our parents house . We were thrown out of the house …

We lost our parents to an ugly incident and they left both of us in this wicked world …The family members. conspired and they chase out of the house .. …….

I wasn’t used to the harsh weather and so I had to use my inhaler often

“Ethan this is the last inhaler ” he said sadly
My breathing became normal. …

The inhaler became exhausted and I had to prevent my attacks from coming …

We were walking in a street when a bus with diesel passed ….

I started experiencing my attack with a sharp pain in my chest …the inhaler wasn’t available as well. ..I felt like the world was going to come to an end …

Some guys helped me and I was taken to the hospital for a surgery ….

I became better but they asked for something in return ….my brother had to serve them and he was trained to be a Mafia …

My brother had no choice so he has to accept … through this illegal job …he sent me to school and he provided all my needs ….

I just have to repay him for everything he did

I paid all the bills and I waited patiently in the reception waiting for him to wake up…..

The stranger who entered my room had a terrible mission to execute so I had to prevent that

I kept struggling with the stranger and due to my condition he overpowered me …

He took a fire extinguisher and he banged it on my head ….

I held my head and I was walking haphazardly from a side to the other ….. I was dying and different memories keep flooding my head and my eyes were failing me

I felt blood gush out of my head and I blacked out …..

I kept struggling with Diego till he pushed me …

I fell and I struck my head against a iron piece …. I felt totally strange and I felt like I was fast dying ….

I just laid numb looking at Diego and blood kept gushing out of my head ….I couldn’t control that ….I blacked out

Why is she so brave and courageous to have struggled with me that much….a lady hasn’t be able to the challenge me but now I am doomed …she looks dead ….

I carried her into the car and I drove to the hospital …the nurse carried her into a stretcher and they rushed her into an emergency department and I was asked to sit in the reception
I am really confused ….hope she isn’t going to die …

“Come in Mr Axel”the doctor said when he saw me at the door …

I was looking worried and lost as I entered the office …

“Your brother is actually fine and he must stay here for a few days ” the doctor said

“Okay sure it’s fine if he stays here but make sure no one goes into his ward .. I said sadly

“I assure you that I will protect your brother ” the doctor said ..

I left the hospital and I went home to check on Kimberly and Alexander …

“Hey hun”Kimberly said the moment she saw me

“How are you doing ” I said pulling her into a hug. little Alex forward and he hugged me also

“Where is my dad ” he asked in a tiny voice

“Your dad travelled he will be back soon ” I said lying to him…

“Kim you didn’t go to work for the past few days ” I asked looking at my girlfriend …

“Someone is managing the agency currently I really don’t have to stress myself ” she said trying her best to smile

“How about Carissa ” she asked

“Oh that reminds me I wanna call the private investigator

????????Hello good afternoon ????????the investigator replied

????????Any trace of Carissa ???????? I asked worriedly

????????We found nothing in the crimes scene ????????the investigator said

????????We all have to keep praying for Carissa ???????? he said and he ended the call ….

“I have to go ” I said and I kissed Kimberly

I left the house

Wow !! I exclaimed Kimberly has an agency which I know nothing about …

I will have to make a plan ….

I put a venom poison into the pineapple juice and I took it to Kimberly

” You must be tired kindly drink this” I said faking a smile

“I really don’t need a drink “she said rejecting the juice …

“It’s good for your health ” I said smiling

She was about drinking it when Alexander threw a ball at the glass of juice making it break into pieces

“Holy s**t ” I said angrily …. Alexander spoilt my plan now the poison is exhausted…

I have to tell Maya about it ..

“What have I done to deserve all this ” I said crying in the room …I didn’t know when I slept off ….

I woke up the next morning …I was really hungry and famished but there is nothing to eat …

The door of the room opened and Diego dragged me out …

We climbed a lot of stairs and still he didn’t stop dragging me …he finally dragged me into a big room that looked so beautiful … at

I knew the worst was gonna happen …he was just going to r**e me … …

I can never allow him to do that …I started struggling with him..

The little girl is just suffering for crimes she knows nothing about all this and she’s innocent …

I really feel sorry for her but somehow she is connected to me

I just hope that Diego won’t do anything to her …

I really feel like she’s one of my lost daughters

The feelings of her in bed with me kept filling my day dreams …

I couldn’t wait for the first alarm to ring…I have to go to her room right away
