I had an encounter with someone who needed an SEO Specialists. I got talking with this individual and he asked me few SEO related questions.

My answers to his questions led into telling him about websites I have optimized in the past citing few examples.

To my amazement he said "It's actually easy to rank on search engines as long as you know your keywords"

I was ...seriously? (In my mind)

Then I asked him gently why he needed an SEO "Specialist" not someone who knows a "bit of SEO", but a "specialist" if its so easy to rank your posts on search engines" to that he gave no answer.

Can I get your attention please? There are lots of very good on the web that don't get to show up on the first or even second page of the search engines, especially on , just because they are not properly optimized. No one gets to see them during search because like you and I, we don't get to search beyond the first page result

My point is, even Google needs SEO and they employ SEO Specialists ( a whole lots of them). If Google needs SEO, it means you need it too as long as you post content on your "website"
