John Paul has been unlawfully detained for more than 24 hours in Delta State Police command Asaba.

Continuous detention of any Nigerians for more than 24hrs in police custody is gross violation of their fundamental human rights.

Comr. John Paul has spent more than 1 week in police custody without formally charging him to court.

This is unacceptable.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the association said the current state of the stadium falls short of the infrastructure and facility requirements needed to host professional league matches, thereby limiting sporting opportunities for youths in the area.

HURPA noted that Kwale, headquarters of Ndokwa West Local Government Area, has the potential to become a major sporting hub if the stadium is properly developed and equipped.
