WAAW Foundation’s Annual Scholarship Program aims to support undergraduate African Females Students studying any Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) related course at the any African university.

Application opens: September 6th, 2021 at 10am WAT
Application closes: November 12th, 2021 at 3pm WAT

Eligibility: You need to fit all the criteria to apply for the scholarship;
1. A Female students of African origin living in Africa
2. Must be less than 32 years, have gained Undergraduate
3. Confirmed admission to a higher education institution in Africa studying your first undergraduate degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) field.
4. Can demonstrate financial need for the scholarship
5. Excellent academic record
6. Volunteering and community service.
Special consideration is given to underprivileged students such as orphans, girls impacted by HIV or students in their first or second year of study.

Accepted courses are: Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)-related courses at any African university;
a. All fields of Engineering
b. All computer science
c. Science & Mathematics related fields; Industrial chemistry, environmental
sciences
d. Medical courses; Pharmacy / Biomedical, Biochemistry, Zoology
e. Agriculture, Geography, and Statistics etc.
