NSCDC, FRSC Strengthen Collaboration for Public Safety in Kaduna

The Commandant of NSCDC Kaduna State Command, CC Panam Musa Buba, has reaffirmed the importance of inter-agency collaboration in safeguarding lives, property, and Critical National Assets and Infrastructure. He made this known during a courtesy visit by the Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Kaduna, AP Longkam, at the State Command Headquarters.

Commandant Buba noted that the visit would further strengthen the existing relationship between the NSCDC and FRSC, commending the Sector Commander for his commendable performance since assuming duty in the state.

In his remarks, AP Longkam stated that the visit was aimed at fostering familiarity and understanding of security dynamics across Kaduna State. He also acknowledged the leadership of the NSCDC Kaduna Command, emphasizing the shared responsibility of both agencies in ensuring the protection of lives and property.

*NSCDC Kaduna Commandant Presents IT Completion Certificates to Kadpoly Students*

Monday 4 May 2026 - The Kaduna State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Panam Musa Buba, presented IT completion certificates to two Kaduna Polytechnic students after their four-month training.

He praised their discipline and highlighted the importance of Industrial Training in building practical skills and professional competence. The Commandant urged them to apply the knowledge gained and remain good ambassadors while reaffirming the Corps’ commitment to supporting student development.

The students expressed appreciation, describing the experience as valuable and impactful.

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has warned that growing public apathy toward protecting Critical National Assets and Infrastructure is enabling vandalism, sabotage, and national losses. Commandant General Prof. Ahmed Abubakar Audi emphasized that effective security cannot succeed without active community involvement, noting that residents are the first line of observation and protection.

He stressed that ignoring suspicious activities allows minor incidents to escalate into serious security threats with economic consequences. While reaffirming the Corps’ commitment to safeguarding national assets, he called for citizens to shift from indifference to vigilance and shared responsibility.

The NSCDC also highlighted strengthened inter-agency collaboration and government efforts to enforce stricter penalties and faster justice for offenders, urging Nigerians to view infrastructure protection as a collective civic duty essential to national stability and future development.

NSCDC Kaduna Honours Officer After Anti-Piracy Training

The Kaduna State Command of the NSCDC has recognized A.Y. Yabata following the successful completion of Anti-Piracy Course 10/2026 at the Martin Luther Agwai International Leadership and Peacekeeping Centre, Jaji.

The State Commandant, CC Panam Musa Buba, presented the certificate and commended the officer’s dedication, urging all personnel to remain disciplined and be good ambassadors of the Corps at all times.

NSCDC Kaduna Command Reaffirms Commitment to Inter-Agency Collaboration

The Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kaduna State Command, CC Panam Musa Buba, has reiterated the Corps’ commitment to strengthening collaboration with other security agencies to safeguard lives, property, and critical national assets.

Speaking during a study tour by participants of the Executive Intelligence Management Course 19 at the NSCDC State Headquarters in Kaduna on April 27, 2026, the Commandant emphasized that effective security can only be achieved through sustained synergy among agencies such as the Police, Military, and DSS. He noted that regular intelligence sharing, joint consultations, and coordinated strategies have significantly enhanced efforts to combat insecurity in the state.

Addressing the theme of the tour, “Ethnic Militias and Resource Competition in Africa: Implications for National Security,” Commandant Buba highlighted the growing threat posed by ethnic militias, often driven by socio-economic grievances and competition over resources. He called for a multidimensional approach to security, stressing the importance of intelligence-led operations, community engagement, conflict prevention, and inter-agency cooperation. The visit concluded with an exchange of souvenirs and a group photograph.

NSCDC Kaduna and SON Strengthen Strategic Partnership in High-Level Familiarisation Visit

The management of the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) paid a familiarisation visit to the Kaduna State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) as part of efforts to deepen institutional collaboration.

The delegation, led by the North-West Regional Director, Mallam Umar Sale, stated that the visit was aimed at strengthening existing synergy between both organisations and exploring new areas of cooperation for enhanced service delivery. He emphasized the importance of sustained partnership in ensuring regulatory compliance and national safety standards.

In his response, the State Commandant, CC Panam Musa Buba, commended SON for its critical role in maintaining product standards across the country. He assured the organisation of the Command’s continued support through effective collaboration, cooperation, and synergy in the discharge of their respective mandates.

CC PANAM MUSA BUBA ORDERS IMMEDIATE ASSESSMENT AND DEPLOYMENT OF PERSONNEL TO NTA KADUNA

The Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kaduna State Command, CC Panam Musa Buba, has directed the immediate assessment and subsequent deployment of personnel to secure the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) State Headquarters in Kaduna.
The directive was issued on Thursday, April 9, 2026, during a courtesy visit by the management of NTA to the NSCDC State Headquarters in Kaduna. The Commandant instructed the Head of Operation FUSHIN KADA, SC Iyal, to urgently survey and assess NTA’s infrastructure to facilitate prompt deployment for the protection of its critical assets.
CC Buba reiterated that safeguarding lives, property, and Critical National Assets and Infrastructure remains a core mandate of the Corps. He emphasized the importance of strengthening existing collaboration between NSCDC and NTA, noting their longstanding partnership in information dissemination and national development.
The decision followed a request by the NTA Zonal Director, Mallam Ishaq Musa, who sought enhanced security presence to protect the organisation’s facilities. He highlighted the strong collaboration between both agencies, driven by the vision of the NSCDC Commandant General, Prof. Abubakar Audi, towards securing critical national infrastructure nationwide.
Mallam Musa commended the State Commandant for his commitment to security and pledged improved media support through dedicated coverage of NSCDC activities.

NSCDC KADUNA COMMAND DEPLOYS 1,500 PERSONNEL FOR 2026 EASTER CELEBRATION SECURITY

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kaduna State Command, has announced the deployment of approximately 1,500 personnel across the State to ensure a peaceful and secure environment during the 2026 Easter celebrations.

The State Commandant CC Panam Musa Buba disclosed that the Easter Celebration, Operation is aimed at providing adequate security coverage before, during, and after the festivities scheduled for Friday, 3rd April, 2026, and Monday, 6th April, 2026, as declared public holidays by the Federal Government.

According to the Command, large gatherings are expected at various worship centres across Kaduna metropolis and other parts of the State. These gatherings will include government officials, political leaders, traditional rulers, and Christian faithful commemorating the Easter season.

To ensure safety and prevent any breach of peace, NSCDC personnel will be strategically deployed to worship centres, major junctions, critical infrastructure, and recreational venues throughout the State.

Divisional Officers have been directed to take full charge of their respective jurisdictions and ensure strict compliance with all security directives. They are also mandated to implement proactive measures to deter criminal activities, particularly those posed by individuals or groups seeking to disrupt public peace, including terrorists and other violent offenders targeting crowded areas.

Furthermore, Area Commanders have been instructed to coordinate all Divisions under their supervision to establish effective crime prevention strategies, including surveillance and monitoring teams, to enhance situational awareness and rapid response.

The Command reassures residents of its commitment to maintaining law and order and urges members of the public to remain vigilant and cooperate with security agencies by reporting any suspicious movements or activities.

The NSCDC Kaduna State Command wishes all Christian faithful a peaceful and joyous Easter celebration.
