Kudan Local Government Update

Yesterday, Monday 1st April, 2024, the Executive Chairman of Kudan Local Government, Hon. Dr. Shuaibu Jaja Bawa received four Ward Councillors that decamped from the opposition People's Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The decampees were led by APC Chairman of Kudan local government Alhaji Yusi Jaja and the party’s state financial secretary, Hajiya Hauwa’u Haruna.

The councillors are those of Doka Ward, Kauran-Wali North Ward, Kauran-Wali South Ward and Zabi Ward.

The decampees expressed delight for joining the APC, stressing that Dr. Bawa Jaja’s impeccable leadership qualities and his track record of achievement in the development of the local government and the synergy he built with the governor of Kaduna state, Sen. Uba Sani in terms of rural infrastructure are the key factors that informed their decision to dumped the PDP for the progress of their people.
