We were honored to host the leadership team of Propcom+ and representatives of the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) at Nimsy Agro Solar Concept’s fabrication and assembly facility in Kaduna State, Nigeria.

The visit provided an opportunity for meaningful engagement with leaders of farmer cooperatives who have benefited from the solar-powered irrigation pumps and solar threshers deployed by Nimsy Agro with support and funding from Propcom+. Farmers shared firsthand how these climate-smart technologies have improved their productivity, increased their incomes, and strengthened their resilience to climate change.

The delegation also interacted with the Nimsy Agro team and explored our latest innovations, including our newly designed solar-powered irrigation pumps with lightweight foldable solar panels and our post-harvest processing E-tricycle. These solutions are specifically designed to reduce drudgery, improve efficiency, and create greater economic opportunities for smallholder farmers.

We are grateful for the visit and encouraged by the positive feedback on our innovations. Together with Propcom+, we remain committed to accelerating access to sustainable agricultural technologies that transform livelihoods and strengthen food systems across Nigeria.

RURAL SOLAR HUB!!!

Stories like Zainab Haruna’s remind us why sustainable energy access matters.

In Giwa community, Kaduna State, Zainab shared how the lack of reliable electricity made simple daily activities difficult for women and families. Milling grains was expensive due to petrol-powered mills, and sometimes she had to walk long distances just to process food for her children.

Today, through the Rural Solar Hub built by Nimsy Agro Solar Concept with the support of Propcom+ , things are changing. The hub provides affordable solar-powered milling services (wet and dry), phone charging, and even ice blocks for cooling drinks all at prices far lower than fossil-fuel alternatives.

For Zainab and many others in the community, this is more than access to energy; it is improved livelihoods, reduced stress, and greater resilience for families.

With the support of Propcom+, Nimsy Agro Solar Concept has successfully built 6 Rural Solar Hubs across Kaduna, Kano, and Plateau States, creating similar impacts in underserved communities and proving that clean energy can drive inclusive rural development.

We’re excited to introduce a smarter evolution in solar irrigation — our newly designed solar irrigation pump with foldable solar panels.

Unlike conventional rigid glass panels, this new design is built for real farm conditions:

Portability & ease of transport — move across fields with minimal effort
Faster deployment — set up and start pumping in minutes
Reduced breakage risk — no fragile glass, more durability on-site
Optimized space usage — ideal for smallholder and clustered farming systems
Improved flexibility — adapt panel positioning for maximum sunlight capture

This innovation is designed to make clean, reliable irrigation more accessible, especially for smallholder farmers and agricultural operations working across dispersed land.

We are now open for pre-orders.
