A prominent Kwara-based broadcaster and Head of Station at Tiwa n Tiwa TNT 102.5 FM, Ijagbo, Alhaji Yemi Zubair, has reportedly died on Saturday at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital.

In a statement issued by the management and staff of the station, the late journalist was described as a dedicated professional whose leadership and commitment greatly contributed to the growth of the organisation.

The statement noted that Zubair was more than a leader, describing him as a mentor, guide, and pillar within the station.

Alhaji Yemi Zubair also previously served as the pioneer General Manager of Albarka 88.9 FM, where he was credited with playing a significant role in the station’s development.

In a separate statement today, the management of Albarka FM commiserate with the family of the deceased, praying to Almighty Allah to grant him Jannatul Firdaus.
