Grace 4Grades service with our esteemed Zonal Secretary was awesome! 💃💃
We learned about Academic Excellence and three key things that help connect us to excellence:
1. Joy (John 15:11): Joy is a fruit of Christianity, and it’s essential for achieving excellence.
2. The Word: Study to show yourself approved (2 Timothy 2:15).
Studying the Word of God transcends to other areas of your life.
3. Diligence: A diligent man shall stand before kings (Proverbs 22:29). Your academics must reflect the success inherent in you.
However, there are obstacles to excellence:
1. Fear (Job 3:25): Fear paralyzes. If your past doesn’t inspire you, let it go.
2. Laziness: As a child of God, you don’t lack capacity, but laxity.
To overcome these obstacles:
- Maintain perfection by confession
- Use your tongue to set yourself ablaze for excellence (James 3:5)
- Believe
- Confess
- Read
