The energy from our recent FP Impact Program still resonates. It was an inspiring day where individuals passionate about making a difference in the realm of family planning came together to explore the connection between family planning and how it affects Nigeria's socioeconomic progress and growth. New data was presented, and stakeholders put their minds together to come up with lasting and sustainable solutions to enable Nigeria to achieve its FP2030 goal.
Having policymakers and individuals involved with implementation aggregate views from both sides of the divide enabled them to provide unique perspectives on the same issue and ensure that it could be examined from both lenses. The intellectual jousting was carried out with honesty and optimism, uncovering practical solutions and sparking collaborations that will eventually sprout lasting change.
In an unexpected turn of events, some of our (Communicating Evidence for SRHR Policy, Advocacy and Action) graduates honored Professor Adesegun Fatusi with an award for his impactful leadership. It was a moving reminder that great leadership shapes lives and communities.
