A Gentle Reminder About Gratitude

Early this morning, I caught myself sighing....thinking about the things I’m still praying for, the goals I haven’t reached yet.
And then I paused.

I remembered a time when I prayed for the exact life I’m living now.
The roof over my head…
The peace I wake up with…
The people I now call family…
Even the strength to smile through challenges.

It hit me that sometimes, we get so focused on the next blessing that we forget to appreciate the answered prayers we’re already living in.

Gratitude doesn’t mean everything is perfect... it simply means you’ve chosen to see the beauty in what already is. 💛

So today, I just whispered,
“Thank You, God for what I have, where I am, and who I’m becoming.”

No complaints. Just gratitude. 🙏
