PDP WARNS MEMBERS AGAINST ACTIONS CAPABLE OF CAUSING DISCORD WITHIN THE PARTY

************Internal Party Matters Must Not Be Litigated on Social Media — PDP

The Kwara State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Led by Hon. Isa Adamu Bawa, has issued a strong warning to members against allowing themselves to be used as instruments to create unnecessary tension, division, or panic within the party.

In a statement issued by the State Assistant Publicity Secretary, Mr. Bashir Ashura, the party emphasized that it will no longer tolerate any form of indiscipline, insubordination, or actions capable of undermining the unity and collective progress of the PDP in Kwara State.

The party reiterated that while members have the right to express concerns and grievances, all complaints must be channelled through the established structures and appropriate organs of the party. Resorting to social media or other public platforms to address internal matters is unacceptable and contrary to the principles of party discipline.

According to the statement, any member found engaging in activities aimed at creating disaffection, spreading misinformation, or bringing the party into disrepute will face immediate disciplinary measures in accordance with the provisions of the party’s constitution.

The PDP further called on all members, stakeholders, and supporters to remain focused on the collective goal of strengthening the party and positioning it for greater success in future electoral engagements.

“The strength of our party lies in our unity, discipline, and commitment to a common purpose. This is a time for all members to work together, put personal interests aside, and contribute meaningfully to the growth of the party and the development of Kwara State,” the statement added.

The party reaffirmed its commitment to building a stronger, more united PDP that will continue to champion good governance and serve as a credible platform for the aspirations of the people of Kwara State.

PDP SETS UP RECONCILIATION AND ENGAGEMENT COMMITTEES IN KWARA SOUTH AND KWARA NORTH

The Kwara State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), under the leadership of its State Chairman, Hon. Isa Adamu Bawa, has appointed and inaugurated members of the PDP Reconciliation and Engagement Committees for Kwara South and Kwara North Senatorial Districts.

The committees, constituted on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, are aimed at strengthening unity within the party, fostering reconciliation among members, enhancing grassroots engagement, and repositioning the PDP for greater success across Kwara State.
