Reflection press club
Good morning to the curious one left in this world, I woke up this morning to tons of messages on my phone and much more hanging green on my WhatsApp icon. The few I opened said "happy new month!" and I won't be much wrong to assume the rest. I wasn't happy last month died without some of my problems, the truth is, a wise man once said to me, "efforts solves problems".
Believe me, if he was as wise as I had assumed, I won't be having any problem left. I know some of you would assume I didn't do my best or perhaps I didn't channel my efforts in the right direction. But aren't you more confused than I am? You even have a direction to these matters? Maybe you can explain but I don't want to listen, because I have listened too much only to learn the same frivolous thing - put in more efforts - all over again.
The question is; can we really have a perfect life?
Well, just this morning I discovered that the problem we're all having is in our mind, what we call " a perfect life" is a blending of two directly opposite words; perfect and life. Starting with the latter; life is real, if you're reading this, you're enough evidence. you exist, you're alive, you're real and you possess a tangible chance of survival.
Now, perfect, as great as it sounds, it's a myth. you cannot prove it, it doesn't exist. There's no perfect person, no perfect marriage, no perfect job, no perfect girl or guy out there, there's no perfection anywhere. Everyone has something going on inside them though many of us try to fake it but no matter how much we hide it, the truth is we still have it.
And for the curious people alive, that's the root of all our problem, we want to be perfect. The guys wants a perfect relationship with a girl that can only exist in their imaginations and the girls want to look like Cinderella -forgetting she's a fantasy - and they want a Prince Charming. The old people have imaginations damped in impossibilities which allows them to take responsibilities that doesn't rest on abilities in their pursuit of a perfect marriage. But these are fantasies we bought in movies and from many people acting. But a critical examination of real life shows that either the actors in movies nor the actors in real life possesses perfection. And if we're humble enough, we're see that the actions we judge people for, we're also directly or indirectly guilty.
This article should not be misinterpreted as a disapproval to any conscious effort into enhancing one's life or adjusting one's life as the case may be, I ADVOCATE SUCH EFFORTS, AS A SUM OF SUCH EFFORTS NO MATTER THE DEGREE WOULD AMOUNT INTO A SIGNIFICANT CHANGE IN ONE'S LIFE BUT IT MUST BE NOTED THAT PERFECTION CAN NEVER BE ACHIEVED BECAUSE ONE CAN NEVER ACHIEVE SOMETHING THAT DOESN'T EXIST.
You're free to debate this but you have to also note, you can never come up with a perfect argument against this because perfection has always been and would always remain a myth.
