Abusive Relationship is a silent destroyer.
It doesn’t always start with violence. Sometimes it begins with control, manipulation, constant criticism, emotional neglect, or fear disguised as love. Over time, it breaks confidence, damages mental health, and leaves deep scars that many people struggle to recover from long after they leave.
Abusive relationships are truly disastrous. They drain your sense of worth, distort your identity, and make healing a long and painful journey for many victims. No one deserves to be trapped in such pain under the name of love.
It was an honour and a privilege to share the stage as an anchor with Pst. Mavis Akubuike and Pst. Blesssing Onyedim, in a session like this at IFPC 2025, creating awareness, encouraging healing, and helping people find the strength to choose safety, dignity, and wholeness.

I came across a story that really shook me.
Mr. Otedola once shared that he bought two houses in Dubai but that wasn’t what caught my attention.
Here’s the real gem
The agent who sold him those houses had been showing him properties for 15 YEARS straight. And in all those years, Otedola never bought a single thing.
15 SOLID YEARS of rejection!
Yet, this man didn’t quit. He kept coming back, consistently, faithfully, waiting for the right time.
And when the time finally came, Otedola didn’t call another agent—he called the same man who had refused to give up after 15 years of “No.”
In one move, the man closed a deal for two houses —rewarding 15 years of persistence.
Now, here’s the lesson:
Your vision, your dream, your goal may look like it’s delaying… it may look like “No” after “No.” But if you refuse to quit, the day will come when all the years of waiting will pay off in one big breakthrough.
Stay consistent. Stay planted. Stay believing. Because when the appointed time comes, your persistence will speak for you.
