Tragedy in Ibadan

A heartbreaking incident occurred this morning along Gbagi Market Road, Ibadan, where an innocent student lost his life to a stray bullet allegedly fired by a police officer.

Eyewitnesses say the officer was pursuing a fleeing vehicle when he mistakenly fired a shot that struck the young boy, who was in his father’s car. The student was immediately rushed to Welfare Hospital, but he was sadly confirmed dead on arrival.

The victim, who was said to be on his way to sit for the WAEC examination alongside his twin brother, had his dreams tragically cut short.
