When you hear the term “research,” do you only think of academic work—systematic reviews and cross-sectional studies? What does clinical research really look like? 🤔

‎At our breakout session, we’ll be hearing from Mr. Al Pacino, CEO of BlueCloudX, as he shares insights into what clinical research is all about and emerging opportunities for medical students.

‎This is a chance to see beyond the classroom - and understand how research translates into real-world impact.

If medicine was only about lectures, we’d stop at the classroom.

But medicine is also about leading, serving, shaping systems and making impact.

FAMSA is calling—again.

The second call for applications to serve on the FAMSA Standing Committees, Regional Councils and Technical Working Groups for the 2026 tenure is open for students ready to contribute beyond themselves. This is your chance to lend your voice as a medical student shaping the future of healthcare in Africa.

This time, don’t watch from the sidelines.
Step in.
