What is sad about most families is that they grew up like this, sleeping together, eating together, visiting each other but today most of these people:

1. Don't talk to each other.

2. Don't visit each other.

3. Have become enemies even though they are a family.

4. Accuse each other of witchcraft and jealous.

5. The new generation born out of these families don't know each other because their parents, who are siblings, are no longer on talking terms, and the tragedy is these kids end up dating each other because they don't know their family tree and roots.

6. Only meet during funerals.

The most sad part is the grandmothers or grandparents who were the glue holding families together are long gone.

This Christmas, make means to mend fences with your relatives. Be the bigger and mature person, you lose nothing by extending a hand to your brother, sister, cousin or a long lost relative.

Court sentences police officer Drambi Vandi to d£ath for k!lling lawyer Bolanle Raheem

Justice Ibironke Harrison of a Lagos State High Court has sentenced police officer, ASP Drambi Vandi, to d€ath by hanging for k!lling lawyer, Barrister Bolanle Raheem,.

Vandi had shot Mrs Raheem d€ad in the presence of her husband while returning from church on Christmas Day December 25, 2022 at a Police checkpoint in Lagos.

Delivering judgment on Monday, October 9, the court found the suspended Police Officer guilty of the Christmas Day k!lling of the lawyer and sentenced him to d£ath by hanging.
