One of the common questions my clients ask me is when is the best time to eat lunch?๐ค๐ค๐ค
And this post answers it all...๐๐
The KEY is to not let yourself get too hungry so that you don't settle for unhealthy food choices.
Also, if you wait till you're starving, there's a tendency for you to overeat, as you will be justifying your larger portions with the fact that you've not eaten since morning.๐ฅด๐ฅด๐ฅด
Set yourself up for mealtime success with these tips because eating your meals at regular intervals throughout the day can help you manage dramatic hunger pangs and mood swings๐๐๐
So for......
BREAKFAST๐ฅช: It's all about breaking the โfastโ of a night without eating. It also sets the stage for yourย nutritionย for the entire day and gives you the energy you need to face what the day brings.
Starting the day on an empty stomach can leave you feeling drained and reaching for a candy jar or bag of chips by mid-morning.
Coffeeโ, tea๐ต or a healthy beverage is usually good enough too.
But not nothing โโโ
LUNCH๐: Lunch should be about four to five hours after breakfast. For example, if you ate breakfast at 7 am, eat lunch between 11 am and noon. If it is not possible for you to eat lunch until 2 pm on a particular day, then plan a snack๐ฅ in between those two meals.
But ensure that theย snack is healthy and includes a mix of protein and carbohydrates.
DINNER๐ฑ: Many people tend to overeat at dinner because they have not eaten enough throughout the day. Dinnertime๐ฑ should follow the same schedule as your earlier meals, making sure there is no more than a four- to five-hour window between lunch and dinner. Also no meal should exceed 10pm as this will affect the quality of your sleep ๐ด๐ด๐ด

๐ต๏ธStop adding that extra 'Jara' for the 'babies' ๐๐๐ (if you know,you know..๐) when measuring a cup of rice or any other food

So start tonight...by measuring only a cup..and I mean 1 CUP๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฌ of rice...
