Guess where it’s happening?

We often comfort ourselves by thinking domestic and s*xual violence happens “somewhere else” or to “other people.” But the reality in Lagos is staggering.

With an average of 400 cases a month, this is happening right in the spaces we consider safest, our neighborhoods, our workplaces, and our places of worship.

Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) is never a private family matter. It concerns us all. 🚨 Report abuse. Save a life.

April 25 is more than a date, it’s a global call to protect lives and push back against a disease that should no longer claim them.

Malaria remains a serious threat, but it’s not unstoppable. With the right awareness, preventive measures, and timely treatment, we can drastically reduce its impact. This is about more than statistics, it’s about families, communities, and futures that deserve to thrive without fear.

Every action counts: sleep under treated nets, eliminate stagnant water, support health initiatives, and speak up. When we choose to act, we move closer to a world where malaria is no longer a burden but a memory.

Together, we can turn awareness into action, and action into lasting change.
