Some of you won’t get the benefits of this season for a long time to come, so don’t waste it.

There’s a string of public holidays now and because everyone else is out reveling, they’ll leave you alone.

Spend all this time getting good at one or two high leverage skills.

That podcast you wanted to start? Get your mic ready and start practicing your intros.

Know what your voice sounds like when played back to you and make any necessary adjustments.

You wanted to go big on video (live/recorded)? Start finding the best spots in your home and making test shoots.

You want to build a newsletter? Spend this season creating free Christmas gifts you can use a lead magnets to build your emai list.

There’s just so much you can do now… and if you can muster the discipline, escape velocity will not be far.

Imagine a future Christmas where you’re not stressed or stranded, emotionally or financially?

Imagine an end of year feeling of “I wanted to do this and I did.”

Imagine spending next Christmas at any choice location in the world that you desire because your dreams paid off.

You see, my posts are relatable, not always because of creativity, but because of a retentive memory.

I’ve been there.

I grew up in financial uncertainty, hand to mouth.

I’m not even going to expatiate on how those experiences negatively shape your habits in order to perpetuate the cycle.

I had to go off script in order to break the old cycle and start a new one.

For a while, people saw me as ‘no fun’.

That’s okay. They were right.

I had no business trying to be fun when I was suffering.

My fight was different.

I fought the good fight and I won.

The last time I was ever broke at Christmas was 2012.

The things I had to do to stay afloat back then, I don’t have to do anymore.

That’s escape velocity.

Okay… back to the present.

Wave everyone else Merry Christmas and get into your cave.

You will win. But you must fight like you’re dying.

Rooting for you.

PS: About those high leverage activities, I’ll share some for you on Night School tonight.

One thing you need to know when starting or running a business is that you need to be top of mind to everyone that comes across you.

The way you can be top of mind is by showing up consistently no matter what.

Let everyone that knows you know what you do or sell.

If they don’t refer you, they will definitely patronize you when they are in need of what you sell.

Continue to talk about your craft and skill!

I am rooting for you!
Success and Prosperity!!

*Sometimes you may need to borrow money to invest in that idea of yours.*

It would be stupid not to.

But make sure you have done all your research and employed all your strategies so as to start making profits almost immediately.

That’s what rich people do. They do not use their money to make more money.

They use other people’s money to make more money.

Some because they have credibility, they leverage on other rich people so they don’t call it borrowing rather they collaborate and partner with others to scale businesses and ideas they know will grow.

They take the shot, risk their necks and take actions others are afraid of taking.
