Condemning the Unlawful Killing of Mr. Mine Ogidi
The office of Mr. Ighorhiohwunu Octavian Eboh, Aspirant for the Federal House of Representatives, Okpe / Sapele / Uvwie Federal Constituency, strongly condemns the unlawful and tragic killing of Mr. Mine Ogidi, allegedly by an officer of the Nigeria Police Force.

This incident is deeply disturbing and represents a gross violation of the sanctity of human life and the constitutional responsibility of the police to protect citizens. The use of lethal force against an unarmed citizen is unacceptable and must not be allowed to go unpunished.

We therefore call for:

A thorough, independent, and transparent investigation into the circumstances surrounding the killing.

The immediate identification, suspension, and prosecution of all officers found culpable.

Urgent reforms within the Nigeria Police Force to strengthen accountability and prevent future occurrences.

Justice, compensation, and full support for the family of the late Mr. Mine Ogidi.

Mr. Eboh stands firmly with the people of Okpe, Sapele, and Uvwie, and indeed all Nigerians, in demanding justice, accountability, and respect for human rights within our security institutions.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased and assure them that their demand for justice will be strongly supported and pursued.
