Who's is supposed to fix the damages in a building landlord or the tenant?
Firstly before you rent an apartment please... Carefully read the landlord and tenant agreement form carefully. Any one you don't understand, ask questions for more clarity.
The responsibility for maintaining a leaking roof and drainages depends on the landlord-tenant agreement and local laws. Generally:

# Landlord's Responsibilities
- *Structural repairs*: Landlords are typically responsible for maintaining the building's structure, including the roof.
- *Major repairs*: If the leak is due to wear and tear or a pre-existing condition, the landlord is usually responsible.

# Tenant's Responsibilities
- *Minor repairs*: Tenants may be responsible for minor repairs or maintenance, like replacing gill tiles or clearing blockages.
- *Damage caused by tenant*: If the tenant's actions cause the leak, they're likely responsible for repairs.

# Check Your Agreement
Review your lease agreement to determine specific responsibilities. If unclear, consult local authorities or a lawyer for guidance.

Now the big question is how long can one wait for the landlord before taking legal actions? Remember your gadgets and electronics are at stake.
what's your take on this?
Lawyers over to you.
