Following the Chairman of the Edo State Public Property Protection Committee's visit to a borrow pit site that had dangerously encroached into a community and posed a serious threat to nearby residents, homes, and a school environment, immediate steps were taken to address the situation.

After meeting with stakeholders involved, a directive was issued for the immediate barricading of the area to safeguard lives and prevent possible accidents.

Today, that directive has been carried out, and the borrow pit has now been properly barricaded, reducing the risk to residents and especially school children within the area.

Protecting lives and public safety remains a priority.
