Women Impact Network - WIN

Happy International Women’s Day 2025!
Today, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and brilliance of women across the world.
But beyond the celebrations, today is a call to action: a reminder that there is still work to be done in bridging the gender gap in technology, innovation, and leadership.
As the Founder of Women Impact Network - WIN a Tech Leader in Nigeria, and the Community Lead for Women Techmakers (WTM), I stand firmly with every young girl and woman who dares to dream beyond limitations, who refuses to settle for less, and who envisions a future where gender is never a barrier to success.
For too long, women have been sidelined in the tech and innovation space.
Not because we lack intelligence or drive, but because access, opportunities, and societal expectations have often held us back.
But times are changing! Through Women Impact Network, WTM, and Onyinyechi Mentorship Series, we are on a mission to break these barriers and create a world where women and girls can thrive in tech, entrepreneurship, and leadership, irrespective of their background or location.
How We Are Making These Differences?
Tech Inclusion for Girls & Women – We are bringing hands-on training, mentorship, and digital skills to young girls, especially in underserved communities, so they don’t just use technology but also create and innovate with it.
Mentorship & Capacity Building – Through the Onyinyechi Mentorship Series, we are connecting aspiring female techies and entrepreneurs with seasoned professionals who guide them on their journey to success.
Bridging the Gender Gap in Innovation – We are launching initiatives that help women break into emerging tech fields like AI, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, and Software Development, ensuring they don’t just participate but lead.
Supporting Women in Underserved Areas – We are committed to taking tech education beyond the urban cities and into rural and underserved areas, ensuring that no girl is left behind in the digital revolution.
Advocating for Equal Opportunities – We are pushing for policies that encourage female participation in STEM fields, entrepreneurship, and leadership positions in Africa and beyond.
Our Vision: A Future Where Women Lead
Imagine a world where women build groundbreaking startups, lead the next big innovations, and shape the future of technology.
A world where no girl has to fight for a seat at the table because she is the table. This is the future we are building!
Join the Movement!
Today is not just about celebrating women; it’s about empowering them. Whether you are a young girl curious about tech, a woman looking to transition into the digital space, or an ally who believes in gender equality, there is a place for you in this movement.
Let’s connect, collaborate, and redefine what’s possible.
The future is inclusive, diverse, and powered by women.
Happy International Women’s Day 2025!
Let’s continue to break barriers, challenge norms, and inspire the next generation of women in tech and innovation!

As the week winds down, it’s the perfect time to reflect and recharge.
At the Onyinyechi Mentorship Series, we believe every moment; whether it's a busy Monday or a calm Friday, can be a step towards growth.
Fridays remind us to pause, unwind, and reconnect with what truly matters: our dreams, our passions, and our goals.
Mentorship does the same; it helps you find clarity, build confidence, and take intentional steps toward your future, even in the most relaxed moments.
While you unwind today, remember: growth can start anytime, anywhere.
Join us on this journey to rise, learn, and lead. See details on the flyer.
Unwind, Reflect, Grow.
Have a Great Weekend!

A few days ago, I visited a friend of mine. We hadn’t seen each other in a while, and so I stopped by her house to say hi to her new baby.
We sat down, and her mother served me that post natal foods nah, and we began to gist as usual.
She had always wanted to be different, always dreamed big as long as I can remember.
We used to talk about her owning her a business, one that would impact lives in a meaningful way.
But like most of us, life had its way of making her dreams seem distant.
She had bills to pay, a family to take care of, and the pressure of daily life weighed on her heavily.
The dream was still there, but it seemed too big, too far away.
She told me that an opportunity presented itself as they relocated to Ngozika Estate and an opportunity and space presented itself just few months into her pregnancy.
Without any other delay, she started from her small kitchen, making products and selling them to close friends and family.
It wasn’t glamorous, but it was a start. She was all smiles as she shared the story from the dept of her heart.
As she shared her story, she smiled, saying, “Onyi, if I had waited for everything to be perfect, I’d still be waiting.
You see eeh, sometimes, all you need to do is take that first step, no matter how small.
That first step opened doors she never even imagined.
What started as a small side hustle grew slowly, bit by bit.
She reinvested whatever little profit she made into the business, learning new things along the way, and connecting with more people who believed in her vision.
Today, her business isn’t just surviving, it’s thriving.
She’s gone from her kitchen to owning her own space, with a loyal customer base that trusts the products she creates. All thanks to her supportive husband.
Her story reminded me of a powerful lesson: so many of us are waiting for the “right time” to begin.
We think we need everything in place before we can take that leap, but the truth is, the perfect time may never come.
You just have to start with what you have, where you are, and let the process unfold.
Dreaming big is important, but starting small is often where the magic happens.
It is in those humble beginnings that you learn the most, grow the most, and build the foundation for something greater.
My friend’s story is proof that you don’t need everything figured out to get started, you just need the courage to take that first step.
Whether your dream is to start a business, launch a project, or pursue a new career, remember this: you don’t have to see the whole staircase to take the first step.
Just start, and let your small beginnings lead you to something bigger than you ever imagined.
Have a beautiful Morning and a great day ahead!
