In ministry, marriage, business, or personal growth, discernment is not optional. It is survival. The Bible didn’t say “bad demons” corrupt good character. It said bad COMPANY (1 Corinthians 15:33).

Meaning, sometimes your greatest enemy is not spiritual but relational.

Let us look at five silent but deadly personalities that can quietly destroy your calling, your marriage, and your destiny if you don’t discern them early.

*1️⃣ THE SELFISH PERSONALITY*

“It’s always about them.”

These are people who only draw from your oil but never pour into your life.

They love you for what you carry, not for who you are. They show up when they need something but disappear when you need support.

In ministry, they are excited as long as your grace lifts their ambition... Once you stop feeding their ego, they grow cold.

In marriage, they give affection only when their needs are met. Love to them is a transaction, not a covenant.

Selfish people never sacrifice, never invest, never serve. They drain you emotionally, spiritually, and mentally.

They will clap for you today but compete with you tomorrow.

Samson fell because he trusted someone who was interested in his secret but not in his soul.

- If their presence keeps costing you peace, they are too expensive to keep.
