I remember the very first female trousers I made.
Actually it was shorts.

That thing was pure guesswork.

I had no blueprint, no pattern to follow.

I was basically trying to piece together knowledge from videos I had watched, things I had seen other people do, and the little understanding I had at the time.

After sewing the shorts, I remember posting the picture online back then, and someone commented that I looked like a tomboy in it 🥹

Looking back now, I just laugh.

Because what I didn’t know back then was that, I was at the beginning of a journey that would require years of learning, practicing, unlearning, failing, improving, and refining.

Today, when I look at the HettyRalph Signature Pants, I see more than just trousers.
