*SEEDS OF DESTINY DAILY DEVOTIONAL*

*TOPIC: TRANSMITTERS OF LIGHT*

*SCRIPTURE:* For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.*Psalm 36:9*

*THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:* One Word from God can erase every form of darkness in your life.

It has been established that where there is light, darkness disappears. Light is critical to ending the dominion of darkness in every situation.

There are things that transmit light, and in today’s study, we shall focus on two key transmitters of light:

*1. The Word of God*
The Word of God is a Transmitter of Light.
John 1:1-5 says, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

The Word of God is a transmitter of light. One word from God can erase every form of darkness in your life. It can destroy the darkness of sin, infirmity, and disease. To engage the Word of God is to embrace the light of liberation.

*2. The Presence of God*
The Presence of God is a Transmitter of Light.
The Presence of God is the Source of Light.

Psalm 36:9 says, For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.

The Presence of God carries light, and the purpose of His Presence is to dispel the darkness of sin, sickness, failure, curses, poverty, etc.

Beloved, whenever you spend time in God’s Presence through devotion and communion with Him, you are in touch with light. The assignment of this light-transmitting Presence is to root out everything in your life that was not planted by God.

This is my counsel to you: make up your mind to expel every form of darkness in your life by the light of God’s Word and the light of His Presence.

*Remember this:* One word from God can erase every form of darkness in your life.

*ASSIGNMEN:*
1. Give attention to prayer and the study of the Word so you can access light to overcome darkness.

2. Apply the Word to every situation of your life to experience the dominion power of light over darkness.

*PRAYER:* Father, I receive the grace for prayer and the study of the Word. I erase every form of darkness in my life as I apply Your Word and engage in personal devotion to You, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

What we think is as powerful as what we say!

After one of our Saturday home church, where we discussed about our thoughts, written by Dr Paul Enenche, I felt sorry for myself.

When I was still single, I thought:

I wouldn't want to be pregnant immediately, I will want to enjoy my husband.

By the time I got married, I desired that I conceive asap because of some circumstances.

But, it never came till after six months which did not go well. And then wait for more years before conception happened again. It became a fight.

Aside that thought, I knew other forces ganged up which the power of God took care of, but they may not have been so resistant without the legal right I gave it with my thoughts, which translated to words later.

I have repented of because I've known better.

Thank you Lord for your word of deliverance.

Renew your mind with new, positive thoughts.

James 5:16: "Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed".

Do we do the above scripture?
Could unconfessed sin(s) be the reason why sickness ravages us most time without remedy?

I think the scripture above and more is what the Roman Catholics practice and it's quite scriptural.

But is it limited to only confessing to them? No!

I think they are deemed the appropriate figure to share such with.

Because, how many matured christians can keep the secret of a confession of a fellow?

Would it not be made an object of discussion and pulpit, microphone topics?

I think the above is practical Christianity that will move the church forward to the next level and deal with sicknesses and other ailing the body go through because of sin, if we genuinely practice it

It would even probably checkmate us from being rascal with our lives.

Hmmmm, I am just meditating.

*TOPIC: WISDOM – KNOWING WHAT TO DO*

*SCRIPTURE:* When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?
And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do.*JOHN 6:5-6.*

*THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:* Wisdom is knowing what to do.

It has been established that one easy way to know whether you are working in wisdom or not is by looking at the gains or losses you experience in life. It doesn’t matter how much expertise you claim to possess, what to consider is whether you are having gains or experiencing losses in life?
This can also be applied to the church setting. If people are going to a particular church, but if it does not translate into growth for the church, it means there is a sort of wisdom that is lacking somewhere. There is something the person is not doing that should be done. The church might even be growing financially, but there is no numerical growth. This shows that a particular kind of wisdom is lacking.

John 6:5-6 says,
When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?
And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do.
In John 6, when Jesus multiplied bread for the multitude, He first asked his disciples where to get enough bread, but he asked the question to prove them because he already knew what to do.

So, wisdom is knowing what to do. Then, Jesus took the bread and multiplied the loaves. After everyone had eaten and were filled, he instructed them to gather the fragments that remained, that nothing be lost. The gathering of the fragments is another manifestation of wisdom. There are no losses in wisdom. Where wisdom is at work, nothing can be lost.

*Remember this:* Wisdom is knowing what to do.

*ASSIGNMENT:*
1. When you don’t know what to do, ask God for wisdom.

2. Consistently trust God to experience the manifestation of divine wisdom.

*PRAYER:* Father, I ask that You teach me what to do at any point in time. I receive the grace to connect with Your Wisdom, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
