Malaria is caused by plasmodium parasites, and it is transmitted by infected female Anopheles mosquito. Malaria is severe among pregnant women, children under-5 years and people with compromised immune system.
Avoid dirty environment and stagnant water, clear all bushes around you, sleep under Long Lasting Insecticides Nets (LLIN).
