The Calm Yacht

The yacht rocked gently in the quiet harbour, its reflection fractured by the rippling tide. I framed the shot just as the light broke through the clouds, casting a soft sheen across the water. Behind the calmness of the vessel, the city stood tall, three towers rising like sentinels, the guardians of the river’s edge. Boats resting in the harbour against a backdrop of modern apartments a peaceful blend of maritime life and urban living "MARI-URBAN"
Through my lens, the scene became more than a cityscape it was a quiet conversation between motion and stillness, between freedom and belonging. WHY DID I CHOOSE GRAYSCALE? I did because of its realness and how it it removes distracting colors and emphasizes other elements like form, shape, texture, and contrast. Grayscale can also create a specific mood which actually gave it live.
