Former Anambra State Governor and Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has stated that his decision to contest for the presidency is driven by Nigeria’s pressing challenges, which he believes require practical and responsible solutions.

Speaking in an interview with CNN, Obi said he is well-prepared, dedicated, and committed to restoring hope in the country. He acknowledged that while he may have imperfections, dishonesty is not one of them, adding that his ultimate goal is to put smiles on the faces of Nigerians.

According to him, leadership must be about taking responsibility and offering solutions, not excuses.
