🥴 Rukky's POV 🥴

"What's this? what happened to your face?"My Mom asked, the moment I stepped inside the kitchen and I scoffed loudly.

"Anna and I got into a Fight"I managed to say as my broken nose hurts like hell.

"What! That had never happened. What caused the fight?"Mom further asked. As she left the unfinished dishes to quickly turned on the gas to heat up water.

"You and Dad caused this. If you'd given me to that rich dude, we'd had been swimming in money now. Or do you think Mia would remember you after everything you did to her?" scoffs...

"She won't even dare, Rukky. You haven't really told me the main issue that caused the fight. your nose is bleeding profusely and I don't really think that skinny girl did that to you."Mom said in disbelief and I rolled my eyes angrily.

"Where's dad?"I asked trying to change the annoying topic.

"You know he'd just found another job after his boss sacked him."Mom uttered and turned the steaming water into a bowl and picked up a hand towel.

"Seat on the stool let me help you lessen the pains. You'd get drugs once your dad is back" Mom ordered and I took the seat reluctantly.

What did you prepare?"I asked after She was done attending to my wounds.

"There's nothing for now. I haven't been able to go get my customers clothes for washing. so, I'm broke. there's not a dime in the house."Mom uttered and I frowned.

"Don't you dare say that. I'm famished and I need to fill my stomach to it's brim. it's not my fault you couldn't get your customers clothes. All this was the reason I'd never been in support of you and Dad giving Mia out. if she was here, you wouldn't had been worrying about getting the clothes."I gritted out with my arms wrapped underneath my b***s.

"Don't you ever say that in the presence of your dad. we gave Mia out on purpose."She warned and I scoffed

"Go and help me get the clothes from the customers so, we'd prepare something."Mom uttered and I narrowed my eyes

"what? I'm not doing that and I need my meal served", I yelled, stormed inside my room and plucked myself on the bed.

She had promised me on that day that she'll always do everything herself. She don't expect me to walk around the street carrying polythene bag knocking each customers door.

"Ain't we done? We've been taking different shots"I asked impatiently. I don't wanna Miss my flight back to L.A.

"Just one last posture and we're done"My manager said and I rolled my eyes.

"You'd need to change your outfit for the last shoot."My manager uttered leading me to the changing room.

"I don't wanna Miss my flight, Zoe. I've missed Bryan so much. Can't believe I was away from him for two fu*cking months."I said in hushed tone

"Isn't that the same Bryan that hasn't been picking up your calls? And even went to the extreme length of switching off his phone?"Zoe Narrowed her eyes taunting.

Zoe is my manager but, she's also my best friend. She'd never been in support of my relationship with Bryan. She feels I'm the one chasing after him. I won't deny the fact that I do love Bryan so much and I know he does loves me too.He just couldn't show it out due to his kind of personality.

"I don't think Bryan switched off his phone on purpose. There'd be a reason behind it and I'd find out when I get there."I assured her and she shooked her head in a pityfull manner and helped me zipped up the see through net black gown for the last shot of the day.

"You know I'd always support you in whatever makes you happy."she tapped my back a little before strolling out of the room and I turned and followed suit.

🙄 Bryan's POV 🙄

After a while, I was able to get hold of myself. Logan Norwich is just being unreasonable. I never wanted those attention i got from the ladies back then in school. They were all clinging around me and I just couldn't stop myself from having s*x with them.

If his girlfriend had loved him, she wouldn't had come chasing after me like a plague.

"Lord Bryan, Doctor Jason wishes to see you."Philip said behind me as I stood staring into space at the balcony.

"Send him over here."I simply said after a while of silence. I don't wish to see her it'll only get me more infuriated.

"okay, boss." Retreating steps follows and I signed loudly and sat on one of the seats earlier.

Two can play this game, Logan Norwich. I'll get back my buyers and that's a promise.

"Good afternoon to you, Lord Bryan."Dr. Jason greets as he walked in putting on a casual outfit, holding on to his duffel shaped leather satchel medical bag.

"Yeah, seat!"I ordered and he took the spared seat.

"Thanks"he muttered after settling down on it.

"Lord Bryan, about that young lady, She was badly injured and it's a good thing a first aid was done on her wounds before I'd arrived. it'd had been infected but, it's a good thing she's out of danger now. I gave her some sleeping dose that'll also help in easing the pains."He explained and I just had an expressionless face on.

"Good! Phillip will give you something on your way out."I said sternly. he nodded and stood up. "I'll be on my way now. And another thing is, she shouldn't be stressing herself to enable her recover faster. Bye", he said and walked off. I stared at his retreating back and scoffed loudly.
