THE TASK THAT MUST BE DONE
On this Thursday, the Lord will bless and empower you to be His ambassador and witness. The primary assignment that God has given to every believer is to propagate His Kingdom. It is called the ‘Great Commission.’ All the blessings, gifts and resources that you receive from God are to enable you to carry out the task. It is a task that must be done.
*“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth”(Matthew 24:14; Acts 1:8).*
I pray for you this morning, that the Lord will bless you with natural and spiritual gifts to enable you to be His true ambassador in words and deeds. May the beauty of Jesus be seen in your life. May your comportment, character and conduct exalt Christ that He may draw all men to Himself. May your words and lifestyle be loving and lovely for credible and impactful witness for Jesus Christ. May ‘He that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness; as Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness...’ in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
