Am sure we all remember this sentence
we stand and divided we fall

It is possible for a musician to be individually good but lacks the ability to work with the team, because he has the mindset to shine more

That is so bad because when it comes to making music, everyone must understand their role and make sure they do just their job .

# simple things that helps the team work

1. Paying attention to eye to eye communication between the lead vocalist, and the rest of the band

Some musicians play and get carried away , some with too much joy and the forget to pay attention to communication between their fellow band members and this can slack the music.

2. Inability to play to Instructions
No matter how good you are , you can't be above instructions as far as team work is involved

Note: two masters can't lead at a time
I know there is room for sharing ideas but it doesn't mean you shouldn't pay to the instructions of the band director.

Note : even if you are more musically inclined than the band director, and you guys are on stage
Please play what ever you are asked to play especially if strictly instructed, that is professionalism .

3. Ability to cover up each other mistakes and not trying to make the persons mistake look obvious
If you try to disgrace your team member you will end up disgracing the whole band, so it is wise and matured to cover for each other

As a drummer learn and master your timing, so that Incase the singer goes out you can sole the problems on stage and cover up for each other

Note : It is better to be corrected behind stage that on stage

If you do all this , you will not just be addressed as a musician but as a matured musician that understands team work
