Ankpa Local Government Have Been Fully Marginalized Since 1999 Till Date:

Below are the analysis from Ankpa federal constituency:

Omala Local govt House of representative 4years

Omala Local govt held the position of Governor of Kogi state 9years and a Governor supersede all other elective position in a state.

From Olamaboro in Ankpa federal constituency:

Hon Ali Attai Aidoko, House of representative 8years And As Senator 7years.

His Excellency Chief Edward Onoja as deputy Governor 6years from Olamaboro LG.

For 21 years Olamaboro have been effectively represented from the national down to the state.

Other Local Govt ,
Below is Dekina LG:

Senator Alex Kadiri 4years.

Senator Nicholas Yahaya Ugbane 8years.
Senator Jibrin Isah Echo Cho 8 years ie.

Idah Federal constituency is as follows:
Prince Abubakar Audu as a Governor for 5year
The Current Hon minister of the federal Republic of Nigeria, Deputy Governor, Simon Achubu also current Deputy Governor .All from Idah Axis Fully in power from National down to state.

And Ankpa Local govt that gave birth to Olamaboro and omala Local govt have been marginalized politically and below is the break down of the representative from Ankpa local govt:

=Hon Alh Muazu Abimaje(Ankpa 4years)1999-2003.

=Hon Hassan Omale(Ankpa 4years)2015-2019.

=Hon Alh Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims(Ankpa 8years) 2019 till Date. In all is 16years and some month because of the two senator that only spend some few months each before Aidoko take from them.through Court.

Below is the list of Kogi East senators since 1999 till Date:
=Senator Alex Kadiri(Dekina4years)1999 to 2003.

=Senator Nicholas Yahaya Ugbane(Dekina 8years)2003 to 2011.

=Senator Dangana Ocheja(Idah Axis 6 months)June 2011 to Dec 2011.

=Senator Ali Attai Aidoko(Olamaboro 7 and half years)

=Senator Abdullahi Abubakar(Ankpa Local govt) 6Months.
Senator Isaac Alfa(Ankpa Local Govt)2month months

Adding all this together, it is about 16 years despite all our political input, we are still left behind in terms of appointments and other elective positions

Your Excellency Sir, Ankpa local govt have been marginalized since the inception of democracy 1999 till date.

From the above analysis, Ankpa local govt had not occupy any political position like other local govt had did previously and till Date.

Ankpa local is left behind in terms of political
appointments and other govt electives positions. We've not held the senatorial seat for full tenure since the return of democracy 1999 till Date.

Ankpa local govt gave birth to the remain two local govt(Omala and Olamaboro) but we've not been considered.positively despite all our political contributions to the development of Kogi state .

Even at the state executive level, Ankpa local govt have no representative at the state executive council ....since the formation of this new govt led by His Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo executive Governor of Kogi state.

Your Excellency Sir, for equity, fairness and justice, Ankpa Local govt deserve a commissioner for equity and justice.

The good people of Ankpa play crucial roles in kogi elections the voting strengths is much

Your Excellency Sir, consider this as an appeal from the good people of Ankpa Local govt bcos the next political season at the corner.

Finally, the APC should do their calculations properly in order not to give the opposition an advantage in the upcoming election. Ankpa Local Government should be given due consideration by being allotted either the senatorial seat or the House of Representatives slot. Ankpa's voting strength is significantly higher compared to other local governments in Kogi East.
