Hon. Fayomi Abraham FAYAB Emerges as Rising Force, Bags Three Prestigious National Awards

The political momentum behind Hon. Fayomi Abraham Ajibola (FAYAB) has continued to soar as he secures yet another round of national recognition for his impactful leadership, community service and commitment to grassroots development.

At the 19th edition of the Nigeria Media Nite-Out Award 2025, held yesterday at the Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja, FAYAB was honoured with the Young Political Leader of the Year Award. Though represented at the event, his influence was felt as dignitaries, media executives and political stakeholders applauded his rising relevance in Yewa South and Ipokia politics.

This recognition comes on the heels of his recent decoration as the ICON OF HOPE AND COMMUNITY SERVICE by the Celebrity Journal Publishers’ Association of Nigeria (CJPAN) during their Annual General Meeting and Award Ceremony at the LCCI Building, Alausa, Ikeja.

Adding to this impressive streak, Hon. Fayomi was also honoured in October with the Resourceful Man of the Year Award at the 12th Annual TMnews Summit and Awards 2025, held at the Lagos Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island. The event featured several high-profile personalities, further affirming the prestige of the honour bestowed on him.

Receiving three major awards within a short span from respected media and civic institutions demonstrates a consistent public endorsement of his leadership qualities and community with focused contributions.

Across Yewa and Ipokia, FAYAB’s humanitarian outreach, youth empowerment initiatives, conflict and resolution engagements with accessibility to the people have strengthened his public acceptance. Influential blocs, opinion leaders and grassroots stakeholders increasingly describe him as a dependable leader with the capacity to offer stronger representation.

His long and standing partnership with Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI), whom many regard as one of Ogun State’s most effective legislators, further boosts confidence in FAYAB’s readiness for higher responsibilities.

In a show of solidarity and deep respect, Hon. Fayomi Abraham Ajibola (Fayab) today visited the residence of the late Hon. Obanla in Ipokia to commiserate with the bereaved family following the passing of the revered political icon, who died yesterday and was buried according to Islamic rites.

Hon. Fayomi, who described the late Obanla as “one of the strongest pillars of political stability and grassroots leadership in Ipokia Local Government,” prayed for Allah’s mercy on the departed and comfort for the family he left behind.

He urged the family to take solace in the impactful legacy of the late statesman, noting that his contributions to the political development of Ipokia will continue to inspire leaders for generations.

Hon. Fayomi further reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the family and sustaining the values that the late Hon. Obanla stood for, emphasizing that Ipokia has lost “a leader whose shoes will be difficult to fill.”

FAYAB CONCLUDES EDUCATIONAL EMPOWERMENT IN ALL 12 WARDS OF IPOKIA LGA

-Over 20,000 Writing Materials Distributed as Leaders Commend the Initiative

The Fayab Educational Empowerment Initiative has successfully concluded its final phase of writing materials distribution across all 12 wards in Ipokia Local Government, marking a significant milestone in Hon. Fayomi Abraham Ajibola (Fayab)’s ongoing commitment to educational development and grassroots empowerment.

The concluding phase saw the Fayab for Rep Team visit schools across Ipokia Ward 1 & 2, Ijofin, Maun 1 and Agada, where pupils and teachers received the team with enthusiasm and appreciation. The distribution exercise, which has touched every corner of the local government, has now delivered over 20,000 writing materials to pupils in need.

Community leaders and education stakeholders in the benefiting areas expressed heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Fayab for the intervention. Speaking on behalf of the entire Ipokia Local Government, Hon. Onikoyi and Hon. Taye Whepetonji commended Fayab for his consistent passion for education and youth empowerment, describing the initiative as a true reflection of responsive and people-oriented leadership.

Beyond supporting learning, the empowerment initiative also aligns with Fayab’s firm support for Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI) and his Ogun 2027 ambition, as both leaders share a common vision of community upliftment, human capital development and inclusive governance across Ogun West.

The educational outreach, which began weeks ago with visits to Madoga, Ifonyintedo, Ogosa, Idiroko and other communities, forms part of Fayab’s broader vision to build stronger people, stronger communities and a stronger future for the Yewa South/Ipokia Federal Constituency.

As the Ipokia phase concludes, the Fayab for Rep 2027 Movement has announced that the next phase of the empowerment campaign will soon commence in Yewa South Local Government, extending the initiative’s positive impact to the people.a
