If you're building a business in Nigeria from scratch, one skill you must develop is the ability to be stingy.

Some of you are in a hurry to help everyone.

As much as it is noble, it can keep you down.

Your business is still crawling but everyday you are taking out money to support your friends and family

You make N100,000 but you give out N90,000

You only have N10,000 left to grow the business.

If you continue this way, your business wouldn't be able to take it anymore at a point and you'll pack up.

So what do you do?

Practice healthy stinginess.

Sometimes allow that your friends to be angry by saying no to the request to borrow money from you.

Sometimes don't pay for the Asoebis.

Sometimes skip the group contributions.

Sometimes don't pick that call.

Sometimes don't celebrate her birthday.

Sometimes don't support him financially.

Sometimes if your people ask for N200,000, do not send the entire N200,000. Just give them N100,000

Some folks will say you don't care.

But don't believe that...

Now, I am not talking about natural stinginess.

There are people who are naturally stingy.

That's not what I am talking about.

I am talking about righteous stinginess.

I am talking about orchestrated stinginess.

I am talking about stinginess with a goal.

Stinginess with a timeline.
