THE BODY OF CHRIST 7

In Acts 4:32-25, the Holy Ghost indwelt the believers individually and aggregated them together in Christ, which was the reason they could be united in spirit.

So, their coming together had zero percent humanity and 100 percent divinity. This triggered the surge and release of life supplies from the Lord Himself. Thus, they could maximize the heft of God’s glory in their midst. This was why they could:

- Be of one heart and one soul.
- Share all things in common.
- Wield great power in giving witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus.
- Experience zero lack in their midst because those who had material riches joyfully shared with those who did not have.
- Enjoyed the supply of great grace.

Human effort did not bring about the realities enumerated above. The finesse of the Holy Ghost did.


Now, because the body of Christ is not made up of one part, but many, it is of paramount importance for unity to be achieved among the members for the work of the ministry to be done.

Without unity, it is impossible for the body of Christ to reach its fullest potential in Christ. Again, it is the Holy Ghost that makes all this possible.

He is the chief engineer that brings all believers in Christ in harmony from all races, tribes and tongues. And through the Holy Ghost, they interpenetrate each other in such a beautiful manner that they collectively manifest the glory of God.

So, what every believer is expected to do is consciously labor to keep this unity.
