We are a coalition of professionals, youths, market women, artisans, students, and Nigerians in diaspora who believe the 2027 election is a defining moment for the nation.

*WAKE UP CALL TO ALL OPPOSITION PARTIES: THE SUPREME COURT ALREADY HANDED YOU THE WEAPON – USE IT*

_INEC v. NNPP_, March 10, 2023. The Supreme Court spoke. Loud and clear.

*INEC timetables cannot kill rights given by the Electoral Act 2022. Law beats administration. Every time.*

Yet here we are in 2026, and INEC is running the same playbook it lost with in 2022. Shorter deadlines. Portal technicalities. 6pm lockouts. All designed to cut down what the law allows you.

Opposition leaders – Peter Obi, LP, NDC, PDP, NNPP, and every party outside the ruling bloc – this is your notice:

*1. The 90-Day Rule Is Yours. Take It.*
Section 33 says you can replace a candidate who withdraws “not later than 90 days” before election. Not 90 days + 6pm. Not 91 days because INEC’s portal feels like it. If your candidate withdraws on day 90 at 11:59pm, the law says you can replace him. If INEC says no, the Supreme Court already called that position “without merit”.
Stop surrendering statutory time. File at 11:50pm if you must. Record the rejection. Sue the next morning. You will win.

*2. Your Primaries Are Valid Once You Give 21 Days’ Notice. Period.*
Section 82(1) demands 21 days’ notice. Not “21 days on our portal”. Not “21 days in our format”. A letter to INEC HQ with proof of service is notice. The Supreme Court said substantial compliance with the Act defeats INEC’s formatting rules.
Serve INEC by courier, by email, by bailiff. If they reject your primary over portal issues, take them to court. _Hanga_ will hang them again.

*3. “Day” Means Midnight, Not INEC’s Closing Time*
When the Act gives you a day, you have till 11:59pm. INEC’s 6pm portal shutdown is administrative convenience, not law. The Supreme Court warned INEC: You are a regulator, not a lawmaker.
Test it in the off-cycle governorship polls. Anambra, Ekiti, Osun 2026. Force the case now so the precedent is fresh for 2027.

*4. Stop Fighting Alone. Make This About Rule of Law.*
This is not LP vs APC or NDC vs PDP. This is parties vs INEC impunity. File joint pre-election suits now. Every time INEC rejects a substitution or primary on timetable grounds, the headline must read: “INEC Defies Supreme Court Again”.
Credibility is on the ballot in 2027. Start draining INEC’s now.

*5. Watch the National Assembly*
_Hanga_ only protects rights that exist in the Act. If INEC lobbies NASS to cut the 90-day or 21-day periods, block it. That is the real trap. Once the law changes, the Supreme Court precedent becomes useless.

*Opposition Parties, The Law Is Already On Your Side*
You don’t need to beg INEC. You don’t need to negotiate your rights. The Supreme Court already did the heavy lifting in _INEC v. NNPP_. INEC lost. Badly. Unanimously.

Every time you let INEC’s timetable override the Electoral Act, you are giving away ground the Supreme Court already won for you.

2027 will not be won only at the polling unit. It will be won or lost in the months before, in the letters you serve, the deadlines you refuse to concede, and the cases you file.

INEC is pretending to be ignorant of the law. The Supreme Court is not. Neither should you be.

_September deadline ends May 10 ‘lockout’, gives losing APC aspirants escape route_

*ABUJA* – Trouble looms for the ruling APC.

The Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday voided INEC’s 2027 election timetable, striking out the May 10, 2026 deadline that barred politicians from switching parties. The ruling gives Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso’s National Democratic Congress four extra months to woo aggrieved APC aspirants ahead of the January 16, 2027 presidential election.

Justice M.G. Umar held that INEC “cannot lawfully abridge” timelines set by the Electoral Act 2026. The Act permits parties to submit membership registers and candidate lists until September 2026. The judgment effectively dismantles INEC’s compressed schedule for primaries, substitution of candidates, and publication of the final list.

*NDC EMERGES AS DARK HORSE*

Moments after the ruling, NDC sources confirmed that Obi and Kwankwaso will fly the party’s flag in 2027.

Campaign insiders told a Reporter the September deadline allows NDC to achieve what Labour Party and NNPP failed to do in 2023 — unite Obi’s southern support base with Kwankwaso’s northern structure under one platform, while also absorbing APC defectors after the April-May primaries.

“Before, losing an APC primary was political death. The May 10 deadline locked you in,” said Dr. Amina Yusuf, political scientist at the University of Abuja. “Now governors, senators, and entire local government structures can realign. INEC’s calendar no longer traps them.”

*APC, INEC REACT*

A senior INEC official said the Commission will “redraw the 2027 timetable” after studying the Certified True Copy of the judgment.

A member of the APC National Working Committee, who declined to be named, admitted: “September is now the danger month. If we don’t resolve internal disputes before the April primaries, people will leave.”

Presidential and National Assembly elections are scheduled for January 16, 2027. Governorship polls follow on February 6, 2027.

For Obi and Kwankwaso, the court has not merely granted an extension. It has handed them a tool to fracture the APC structure. Whether that tool delivers victory in 2027 will depend on how many defectors use it.

The debt rises to ₦159 trillion, and all we see is more hardship, more bills, more tears. A government that borrows without building, that taxes without delivering, is not confused — it is comfortable while you suffer.

This is not the Nigeria we deserve.

We deserve to wake up and know that the light will stay on. We deserve to run our shops without fear of ₦225 per unit and zero hours of supply. We deserve to sleep at night without fear of kidnappers and bandits taking over our roads and farms. We deserve leaders who measure themselves by what changes in your home, your market, your street — not by slogans on a billboard.

That is why millions of Nigerians are now looking to Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso.
They are not promising magic. They are promising what should be normal:
