Where the shimmering reflections of the Ou River become a natural extension of the interior, the design begins with a single question: how to define a contemporary living space through the lens of landscape.

A full-height glass façade anchors the concept, dissolving the boundary between indoors and nature. Flowing water, shifting clouds, and changing light are no longer external views, but an integrated part of daily living—an ever-present spatial narrative.

The living area is composed in a restrained black-and-white language. Expanses of white act as a pure canvas, amplifying natural light and river reflections, while black elements provide grounding structure, defining rhythm and spatial balance.

Behind the dining zone, a subtle tea area is introduced, separated by sliding panels that allow flexible openness and privacy within the public realm.

In contrast, the private bedroom spaces shift toward warmer timber tones, expressing softness and calm. Ornamentation is reduced to a minimum, allowing negative space to support future life and personal growth.

Rather than pursuing uniform brightness, the design intentionally preserves zones of shadow. This gradient of light creates spatial depth, guiding movement and naturally encouraging moments of pause and connection.

Here, shadow gives meaning to light—and light, in turn, shapes the way life unfolds.

This residence is guided by three essential principles: light, nature, and order.

By removing conventional boundaries, the living, dining, and balcony areas flow seamlessly into one another, allowing natural light and outdoor views to become an integral part of the interior experience.

Here, light is not merely an element—it is the defining feature of the space.

A restrained palette, refined materials, and clean architectural lines create an atmosphere of understated sophistication. As daylight moves across surfaces, it reveals subtle layers of texture, depth, and spatial rhythm, bringing a quiet architectural elegance to everyday living.

The open-plan kitchen and dining area are thoughtfully arranged around fluid circulation, transforming daily routines into moments of connection. A timeless composition of black, white, and grey is softened by warm textures, achieving a balance between modern restraint and lived-in comfort.

Private spaces embrace a calmer expression, where gentle lighting, refined proportions, and minimal forms cultivate a sense of serenity and retreat. Every detail is carefully considered, allowing functionality and aesthetics to exist in perfect harmony.

This project embraces a contemporary minimalist design language, transforming two adjoining units into a refined 5920sf residence that balances artistic sophistication with the warmth of everyday living.

A restrained palette of black, white, and grey is elevated by carefully curated furnishings, creating a serene and understatedly luxurious atmosphere. The open-plan layout dissolves traditional boundaries, seamlessly connecting the living, dining, and leisure areas to encourage fluid movement and meaningful interaction.

Premium materials, including natural stone, timber finishes, and glass, are thoughtfully layered to create depth, texture, and a timeless contemporary elegance.

The master suite is composed as a tranquil retreat, where soft textures and subtle lighting evoke a sense of calm refinement. The secondary bedrooms introduce distinct character while maintaining harmony between functionality and aesthetics.

At the heart of the home, a private art gallery space becomes a bold statement — where sculptural installations and expressive colours introduce a striking contrast within the home’s refined order.
