"PINK CARPET BY THE WATERSIDE
In Ketaka Town, Tottori City, a naturally formed “pink carpet” spreads across the landscape from mid to late April.😍🌸
Shibazakura (moss phlox), which blooms with small, charming flowers resembling cherry blossoms, covers the ground in vivid color.🌼🌷
Ozutsumi Pond was created about 400 years ago as a reservoir to secure large amounts of water for new farmland development.
It has long served as an important source of irrigation water and, in autumn,
becomes the venue for the Ugui-tsuki Festival, where visitors can experience a traditional fishing method using bamboo baskets. ✨✨
The brightly colored shibazakura blooming in the lush Osaka area is truly eye-catching. 😆🌼
