Whether they are opening or closing a night , play with a local line up or supporting legendary artists - From Nic Fanciullli to Eddie Richards, these 2 are the depiction of what the Sweatbox spirit is all about . Introducing people to new music and transcending any genre boundaries, Otherkind and Obadius never fail to surprise. Otherkind was raised in Teheran in a music family and masters Persia’s iconic and national percussion instrument-the tumbak (zarb) . His sets are raw, unfiltered , experimental and unapologetic. His music productions on labels like Kommunication, Soul De Anima, Sweatbox or his own imprint - Radikal, encompass his versatile nature, with a penchant for deep, dark and driving underground sounds . Obadius’s softer and more melodic side complements Otherkind’s driving energy in any b2b. Having started as Emox and delving into progressive music , Obadius’s journey has been one of learning and experimenting with new sounds .His most recent vinyl release on Limousine Dream-Gene on Earth’s label , depicts perfectly his current style -trippy, funky and fun.
