The need for robust cybersecurity skills has become paramount in the ever-evolving digital technology landscape. The Information and Web Security Course organized a two-day intensive Cyber Security Training Program 2.0 on 8th and 9th December 2023 to address this. The session was conducted in Block G3, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. This cybersecurity skills camp is a crucial platform for individuals to enhance their capabilities in safeguarding digital landscapes.

Cyber Security Training Program 2.0 participants undergo comprehensive training modules covering boosting your security, digital forensics, ethical hacking, ways to use the Kali Linux installation, phishing demo SQL, Metasploit Attacks, and types of hackers. There is a lot of knowledge that can help us improve ourselves and enhance our cybersecurity skills. Cybersecurity skills camps also provide hands-on training and practical exercises, allowing participants to develop and sharpen their technical skills, for example, using the Try Hack Me website to train us and Hack the Box to improve and practice our skills.

One of the critical focuses of this cybersecurity skills camp is raising awareness about the importance of personal and organizational cyber hygiene. Participants in this program also help us understand the general idea of cybersecurity and what ethical hacking is to prevent us from phishing and others. Next, the other key is we also know and understand the tools commonly used in the field of cybersecurity, particularly in ethical hacking, pe*******on testing, and network security assessments such as Nessus, Wireshark, Nmap, and Sqlmap that consistently help them into more accessible ways to test.

The other important key is that skills training programs offer the chance to earn industry-recognized certifications. These certifications can enhance participants' credibility and demonstrate their expertise to potential employers. Through this program, the university can also find talents in the field of cybersecurity.

In conclusion, Cyber Security Training Program 2.0 is a beacon in Malaysia's cybersecurity initiatives. By empowering individuals with the knowledge and skills to navigate the digital frontier safely, the camp plays a pivotal role in fortifying the nation's resilience against cyber threats. As we embrace the digital age, initiatives like these underscore the importance of collective efforts in building a secure and resilient cyberenvironment. Lastly, participants gain a deeper understanding of cyber threats, attack vectors, and vulnerabilities. This awareness is essential for developing effective cybersecurity strategies and implementing preventive measures.
