So cool to see the new Springsteen movie highlight the beauty and haunting qualities of analog recording. When I was 23, my friend gave To me a copy of Bruce Springsteen’s “Nebraska“ record. (LIFE CHANGING , and that cd remained on repeat for the next several years of my life) From that point on I wanted to take a deep dive into the analog recording process. I bought my first Tascam 4 track 424 cassette recorder and went all in on making a record with It. I recorded this song ”No Bridge Left To Burn” using that Tascam 424 over 11 years ago . My good buddy Daniel E. Martin of PartyHat Productionsmade the video when I was living in Austin, TX. GOOD TIMES!
